Bio
Sarah Rose Schechter has over fifteen years of experience planning and producing events ranging from small scale private functions to large, multi-day experiences.
In 2015, after years working and living in New York City, Sarah relocated to Portland, Maine. Shortly thereafter SRS Events was born.
Her training in both the front and back ‘of-the-house’ gives her a unique perspective and the ability to see events holistically. Sarah enjoys working directly with her clients from concept creation to on-site execution. She has the vision, creativity and attention to detail that delights guests, as well as the knowledge, skills and commitment to excellence to make it all happen behind the scenes. Sarah creates events with the attendee in mind, ensuring a memorable experience from the moment they receive the invitation to their last farewell.
When she is not working, Sarah enjoys cooking for family and friends, exploring the Maine coast, downhill skiing, and doting on her adorable nephews.
